Chain Mail gives you complete control of your privacy. You can prevent recipients from editing your content or sharing it with others.
- Reply, Reply All allow editing of your content when set to Yes and the control light shows green
- Editing is prevented when set to No and the control light is red
- Forward allows editing and forwarding of your content when set to Yes and the control light shows green
- Editing is prevented when set to No and the control light is red
These controls work the same way whether you are creating a new email, or replying to someone else.

When you sign up for a Privacy Chain Mail account we create an encryption key that is unique to you. That key is then used to encrypt and therefore secure everything you create. You are the only one who has this key and can use it. And there are no master keys.
